How is this course structured?
- The qualification consists of:
- Online courses that provide underpinning knowledge
- A work-based competence assessment
- To achieve this qualification each candidate must submit four pieces of work covering:
- Word Processing
- Spreadsheets
- Database
- Presentations
Duration and Cost
It normally takes 3-4 months to achieve the qualification.
Free for employees who:
- Do not already hold at least one level 2 qualification, 5 GCSE grades A-C or above
- Are over 19 years old
- Are employed or in a volunteer position
- Are UK or EU citizens and working in the UK or EU for 3 years
- Are not on any other government-funded training
